TUMBLING
Parent-Child Tumbling (ages 6 months to 3 years)
TUESDAY 9-9:45 am
Enjoy introducing your young toddler to the up-side-down world of tumbling and mini-trampoline. Assist your child in discovering all the new and different ways their bodies can move.

Preschool Tumbling (ages 3-6, must be potty trained): TUESDAY 10-10:45am OR MONDAY 12:30-1:15pm
Running, jumping, skipping, hoping, galloping, rolling, bouncing, climbing, swinging, and sliding define these age group classes. These classes are an early introduction to tumbling and trampoline with an emphasis on motor skill development and coordination.

(Ages Kindergarten-12 years)
Level A Tumbling
MONDAY 3:30-4:15pm or Tuesdays 4PM-5:15PM
Children will be working on forward and backward rolls, headstands, handstands, cartwheels, backbends, mini-trampoline and more.

Level B Tumbling
MONDAY 4:30-5:30pm
The primary focus of this class with be developing powerful round offs, active rolling techniques and dynamic backbends in preparation for learning back handsprings. One hour of class/week will not get you to Level C. Home practice is a must if you want to move up. Safe ways to improve at home without a coach will be taught and encouraged.

Level C Tumbling
MONDAY 5:45-7pm
The primary focus of this class is the back handspring. This important tumbling skill will be taught through a series of progressions to acquire the proper technique and strength necessary. Round off technique will be another primary focus.  Home practice must continue.

The Alliance for Teens
The Alliance for Teens, in cooperation with the Y, holds regular meetings the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  Teens host fun nights, and are in need of volunteers.  Call  Karen Aerts-Curtiss or the Y for more info.

High School Basketball (Y-Ball)
Any High School student 9th - 12th grade not participating in High School Basketball.  Players must sign-up individually.  Captains and Program Director will pick teams.

Fit @ 15: Weightlifting Activity
If you are between the ages of 10 thru 15, and wish to accompany your parent (s) into the Y Weight Room, sign up for this 8 week orientation on Magnum Circuit   Training Equipment.  Class includes use of 9 pieces of equipment designed to help you get a total body     workout in a minimal amount of time, and prepare you for the use of free weights.  Also includes a seminar on the importance of Nutrition.  Pre-registration required!  Class size limited to six per session.

STEP’TEMBER CHALLENGE
Ready to “Step-start” your fall wellness?  Join the Step’tember 4-week challenge! Join as an individual or get the whole office moving for fall.  Receive a pedometer and tracking sheets for the amount of steps you take each day.  Tally your steps for the week and report them to the YMCA.  Winners receive up to a year membership FREE! Corporate winners will receive an office party. 

Registration Fee- $20 for individual  
                           $15 per person for Corporate
